Search engines are important tools for information systems and Internet websites that allow users to reach needed information quickly and accurately. They can also be a point of weakness when they offer users many unrelated information. Buraq, the Arabic search engine, is specially designed to search in Arabic texts and to avoid the flaws of other engines. Buraq depends on an accurate morphological analyzer that takes into account that Arabic is a derivative language. The same word has many derivations with different structures. Buraq depends on the morphological analysis rules of the Arabic language in addition to Diacritization, since the meaning of a word changes according to its Diacritization.
  Harf Sat, the Satellite Engine

Visual material is one of the most important means used today in spreading and broadcasting information to the largest number of viewers. Television offers the ability to quickly interact with the viewer and affect them by sending a certain idea or message. Based on this fact, Harf Information Technology has developed and prepared Harf Sat, a satellite engine which offers the possibility of broadcasting any video content with both sound and picture. It allows the user to fully control all that is required to be broadcasted and choose the display format.
  Harf Translator, the Translation Support System

This is a multiple-user translation system that increases the speed and enhances the accuracy of the translation process from Arabic into English and vice versa. The system depends on previously translated texts and electronic dictionaries that are stored in a Translation Memory. Harf Translator assists translators by electronically suggesting translations for phrases or segments which can easily be accepted or modified.
  Harf Publisher, the E-Publishing System

Harf Publisher, the e-publishing system aims at executing and managing the e-publishing process for Arabic books in an automated way that achieves the highest levels of speed and accuracy.
It is used mainly in projects involving building online digital libraries or preparing e-books in different formats such as MSWord, PDF, InDesign…etc.
Harf Publisher is a multi-user system that allows hundreds of specialized users to complete their e-publishing tasks according to the rules previously set by the system administrator. The system allows the users to do the following tasks: diacritization, subject classification, information elements indexing, Takhrij of Ayahs and Hadith, in addition to text revision and linking the text to lexicons, dictionaries or standard lists.
